12/9/07  -Added a page for our latest reproduction CS jacket, the George Bryan Richmond Depot "Type II", check it out!

11/27/07  -Sold out of blankets, new type coming soon.  Set up CS kit page, we now offer three different CS kits!  New kits coming soon!

11/7/07  -Updated the in stock page.  Also a new Bully Buy for November on shelter halves.

7/29/07  -New Authentic-Campaigner Bully Buy for commutation period jacket kits and CS issue shirt kits. Also, we now have entirely handsewn civilian shirts IN STOCK made out of an excellent linen. -Added a new type of civilian blanket and a new type of CS canteen sling as well as reposted the CS canteen and haversack page.


-6/2/07  We have adjusted several of our prices to compensate for the latest postal increase.  We hate doing this, but the last several trips to the post office have been devastating.  Also, we have increased the prices of the SA garments we offer.  This is not an attempt to bilk more money out of our customers, but checking around we have noted that few, if any other vendors offer these garments and in the past several months we have been swamped with orders for them, which has slowed our manufacturing process to a crawl.  It is our hope that this will slow up the orders and allow us to catch up.  Nevertheless, we didn't want to do this without offering an alternative.  We now have a young gentleman whom we have authorized and officially endorsed to put our kits together.  He is very talented, and you won't go wrong in having him put your kit together!  Info is ove ron our kits page.

- Added a few odds and ends to the in stock list.  Most of this stuff has been on hand for awhile now.  Always remember to call to check for the latest stock level, some stuff flies out of here so fast we don't even put it on the site!

- Divided the garment kits page into US and CS, as well as added our issue drawers and 4 button jacket bully buy kits to our general line.

-Cary Davisson is retiring from leatherwork and has requested his offerings be taken off the website.  We will fill all standing orders as fast as possible, but will not take orders for anything other than what we have in stock.  Cary wishes to spend more time with his family and between leatherwork and his day job he just wasn't able to.  We wish him the best of luck!

-CS Canteens back in stock!   We have worked out a deal with Otter Creek Tinware to bring you some of the finest CS canteens yet offered.  It was necessary to raise the price of these to accomodate the new high quality of these canteens, but we still have some of the best prices on this item you will find!  We will have several of these in stock at the Perryville event!

-Many items left over from Rich Mountain in stock right now!

-Civilian blankets are sold out indefinitely.  We'll work on getting a new type soon.

-Due to problems we have been plagued with all year, I must now institute a policy that for coat orders size 50 and up, and trousers orders size 42 and up, a charge of 30% of the total price of the item will be added.  The simple fact is these must necessarily be custom made items, and it takes at least half again as much time to produce the items, and up to 20% more material.  Anyone grandfathered in with current standing orders before this date will be unaffected, but from this day forward this charge will be applied.

-We are now pleased to announce our partnership with Cary Davisson of Buck and Ball Depot.  Cary makes some of the finest U.S. and C.S. accouterments available today.  We will have a number of items in stock at all times, and others will have a short turnaround time.
