Box of the type worn
by John R. Lambert of the 44th Tennessee Infantry. The box comes with
a custom made "top hat" finial never before offered but essential to authentic
reproductions of this particular box. Entirely handsewn with rosin,
tar, & beeswax 4 cord linen thread. Every box will include a woven
natural linen sling (pictured) and a single tin made by the village tinsmith.
This is the first time that a specific CS-made cartridge box has been reproduced on a large scale (let alone a western theater one) and we will attempt to carry at least one in stock at all times.
