The most commonly issued arsenal-made trousers in the American Civil War, no Federal impression is complete without a pair of these trousers, which were produced literally in the millions during the course of the war.  Interestingly enough, with the millions of pairs produced, no two were exactly the same in the features or construction.  The number of variations on how the cuffs were made alone are mind-boggling.  As a result, while all of our reproductions follow the same pattern and general construction techniques, you can rest assured that your trousers will be unique and original, and not a carbon copy of your messmate's.  

    Our reproductions use only the best Federal kersey available, with cotton drill lining.  Our reproductions are patterned after a number of originals viewed and catalouged by our staff.  All of our trousers feature side seam pockets and vented cuffs.
