Our reproduction mid to late war half is made from commercial-grade cotton duck with linen corner reinforcements and follows a two-panel construction.  This tent features machine-sewn seams, felling and corner reinforcements, hand-sewn grommets and buttonholes, 23 bone buttons, hemp tent peg loops and guy-line, and our maker stamp.  Each tent measures 66” long by 63” wide when complete.  Tin-backed tin buttons are available by request only.  This style of shelter half is most commonly referred to as a "Type IIIa."

*Both styles manufactured by W., W. & Company represent a “common use” tent because of the wide variety of sizes and features and are not necessarily reproductions of an individual original tent half.
